This website belongs to Kairos Bakehouse, 206 S 1st Street, Strawn, Illinois 61775. It tells you what we bake, when we are open, and the story of the building. It has no forms and collects no personal details, and this page says exactly what that means.

The guestbook page

The guestbook page shows photos of pages from the guestbook in the bakery. We paint out last names before a page goes online; first names, towns, and messages stay as written. If you see your page and would like it taken down, tell us and we will remove it.

What the site does not do

The site runs no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking, and it sets no cookies of its own. The open-or-closed sign reads the time from your own device and sends nothing anywhere.

Outside services your browser talks to

To show the site, your browser downloads fonts from Google Fonts, and the Building Views page downloads its 3D viewer code from jsDelivr, a public code library. Like any web request, these send your IP address and browser type to those services. They set no cookies. Our hosting provider, Hostinger, keeps standard server logs (IP address, pages requested, time, and browser type) to keep the site running and secure.

The links to Instagram, Facebook, Messenger, Google Maps, and Metric Coffee send nothing until you click them. Once you are on those sites, their own privacy policies apply.
