There's no freezer shortcut here. Doughs are mixed and proofed in-house, syrups are cooked down by hand, and matcha is whisked to order. It's slower — and you can taste it.

Kairos lives inside a restored stone church, with arched windows, stained glass, and thick limestone walls that keep the room cool in summer and hold the smell of cinnamon in the morning.
kai·ros [ˈkīräs] · noun, Greek the perfect, delicate, crucial moment; the fleeting rightness of time and place that creates the opportune atmosphere for action, words, or movement.
It felt like the right name for a room built for gathering — now pouring coffee where it once rang bells.


Our espresso and drip start with beans roasted by Metric Coffee out of Chicago: clean, dependable, and a good match for house-made syrups and honest milk.
Grabbing coffee to go? We keep bagged beans and canned cold brew on the shelf, next to a small corner of handmade local pottery, books, and finds.
